Fletchers Engineering work with data centre operators to fabricate and install steel platforms, pipework and other infrastructure required for efficient operations. We custom-build steelworks to precise dimensions and tight tolerances for a fit that makes the best use of space. We work closely with our customers to meet the varied needs and demands of these highly technical environments.
Data centres need a complex mix of infrastructure, from electricity supplies, to water cooling systems, to access platforms for personnel, all of which must often fit into a relatively tight space. At Fletchers we have the equipment and expertise to work on very large steel structures for any size of data centre, built to custom specifications and installed within a confined area. This makes the best use of space and ensures pipes run where you need them for even cooling of servers throughout the facility, which in turn reduces maintenance demands and cuts running costs over the long term. We work closely with our clients to consult from the initial design stage throughout offsite fabrication and onsite assembly, to give you exactly what you need across one or multiple data centres in your estate.

Fletchers deliver the highest quality standards on every installation. Our end-to-end service includes full project management and we can coordinate third-party contractors as required for any specialist services. We respect constraints on budget and schedule, and always aim to meet expectations of cost and completion deadline. All our steelworks are installed in line with the Construction Products Regulation and British Standard BS EN 1090 and we regularly work on projects spanning hundreds of square metres of data centre space and over 200 tons of fabricated and fitted steelworks.
